Wi-Fi design, rollout and operations
Business Wi-Fi networks
Coverage across the whole site, guest traffic kept apart, hardware matched to the building.
- A site survey before we choose the hardware
- Coverage across the whole building, meeting rooms and common areas included
- Guest traffic separated from company systems
Starting point
What most often goes wrong
Coverage stops halfway through the building
In the conference room you have to stand by the door, in the warehouse the signal drops.
Guests and company systems on one network
A visitor's phone sees the same devices as the finance workstation.
You hear about an overloaded access point from people
Not from monitoring, but once the work has already stopped.
01
Coverage where people actually work
A wireless network starts with the building, not with a hardware catalogue. We design around how many devices connect at once and how far coverage has to reach: offices, meeting rooms, the warehouse, the common areas. Not around a feature list on a box.
The result should be unremarkable: someone walks across the building and never notices they switched access points. Where Wi-Fi is used around the clock, keeping the network healthy matters more than its datasheet numbers.
02
We pick the vendor last
We match the hardware to what you already run and want to keep, to your security requirements and to how the network is meant to grow. We are not tied to a single vendor, so it may just as well be Cisco, Ubiquiti or MikroTik.
No single brand is right for everything. The vendor is the result of that analysis, not the starting point.
03
Security and guest traffic
A wireless network is visible to anyone standing near the building, so security is not an add-on. Encrypted transmission, firewalls and regular firmware updates are the minimum, and they have to be maintained, not configured once.
We keep guest traffic separate from the systems the company runs on. A visitor's device gets internet access and nothing else.
04
Monitoring and growth
A monitored network shows the problem before it becomes an outage: an overloaded access point, a device that stopped responding, a spot where coverage genuinely drops. That lets us react instead of waiting for a ticket.
Companies grow and the network has to keep up. When the design allowed for it from the start, we add access points and extend coverage in stages.
Outcome
What you get
Coverage where people work
Staff can connect in offices, meeting rooms and shared spaces.
A separate guest network
Visitors get internet access without reaching internal company systems.
Hardware suited to site
Device numbers and placement reflect the building layout and budget.
Our work
Networks are our daily work
Two data centres, one network
Core routing stretched across two sites: the existing Catalyst switches stay, the new server room gets a Cisco Nexus core.
See the projectNetwork and server monitoring in Elastic Stack
Several thousand devices under constant watch: one dashboard that shows the state of the network in 30 seconds.

How we start
The first step is a talk and a look at what you already have.
-
1
Need
We listen to what is not working and what needs to change.
-
2
Analysis
We inventory the infrastructure, the risks and the dependencies.
-
3
Plan
We agree the scope, the order of work and the way back.
-
4
Delivery
We make changes in agreed maintenance windows.
-
5
Operations
We monitor, we respond and we plan what comes next.

FAQ
Before you ask
Do we have to replace all the hardware?
Usually not. We start with an inventory of what already works and only add or replace the parts that genuinely hold the network back.
Can guests have a separate network?
Yes, and that is how we build it. Guest traffic runs apart from company systems. Visitors see the internet, not your resources.
What if the company grows or moves office?
We design the network so it can be extended: more access points and wider coverage, added in stages.
Let us start with a conversation
Describe the problem. We set the scope, the order of work and the timeline together.
